What to Expect

Race Day Details

Race Start

Gun time at 7:30 AM sharp. Arrive by 7:00 AM for packet pickup, bib assignment, and warm-up time. Walkers and runners of all paces are welcome — no cutoff time.

Is there a registration deadline?

Online registration closes July 28th. Limited day-of registration may be available at the venue starting at 6:30 AM, subject to availability. Register early to guarantee your preferred t-shirt size.

Can I walk the course instead of running?

Absolutely! The Watermelon Festival 5K is open to runners and walkers of all fitness levels. There is no cutoff time — everyone who finishes is a finisher.

Where should I park?

Parking details and the exact venue address will be emailed to all registered participants approximately one week before the event. We recommend carpooling when possible.

Is the event stroller and dog friendly?

Strollers are welcome! Dogs may participate but must be kept on a leash at all times. Please start toward the back of the pack to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.

What happens if it rains?

The race is rain or shine! In the event of severe weather (lightning, high winds), we'll notify all participants via email as early as possible on race morning.

Are refunds available?

Registration fees are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your registration to another person before July 25th. Contact us to arrange a transfer.
